Global timeout options include:

Backup and restore timeout - The amount of time (in minutes) SQL Backup Master will wait for backup and restore commands to be completed by SQL Server.

Script execution timeout -  The amount of time (in minutes) SQL Backup Master will wait for custom SQL scripts and batch scripts to execute.

SMTP connection timeout - The amount of time (in minutes) SQL Backup Master will wait for an SMTP connection when delivering email notifications via SMTP protocol.

Webhook connection timeout - The amount of time (in seconds) SQL Backup Master will wait for a response when sending webhook notifications.

We recommend testing all backup jobs thoroughly after making changes to global timeout values.

Other options:

Run system service process at background priority - When enabled, this option allows the SQL Backup Master system service process to run at background priority - causing it to yield CPU cycles and IO to other processes. When disabled, the SQL Backup Master system service will run at normal priority. Changes to this setting will not take effect until the SQL Backup Master system service is restarted.
