SQL Backup Master can send backup job completion and status notifications via email. It can also send scheduled reports via email.
Individual backup jobs can override global mail server configuration if needed. This can be done via the Mail Server tab of the backup job settings window. However, scheduled report email delivery requires global mail configuration.
For more information, see the Mail Server backup job settings help topic.
