Wasabi

SQL Backup Master supports the use of Wasabi for database backup storage through their S3 compatible service endpoint.

To use Wasabi as a backup destination, you must have a Wasabi account. If you don't already have a Wasabi account, you can visit their website in order to create one.

To create a Wasabi backup destination within SQL Backup Master, click the Add toolbar button in the Destinations section of the Database Backup Editor window. When prompted to choose a destination, select Wasabi (S3) and click the Select button.

Service Address

By default, the Wasabi backup destination connects to the US East 1 service endpoint (https://s3.wasabisys.com). If your bucket was created in a different Wasabi storage region, use the region picker button (or enter the service address directly) to select the endpoint that matches your bucket's region.

The service address can also be overridden manually, allowing this destination to be used with arbitrary S3 compatible service endpoints. For more information, see the S3 Compatible Overview help topic.

Configuration

Please see the Amazon S3 help topic for discussion of the remaining configuration options.
